LBWCJ 1500 system

BAIDEL Group's system LBWCJ 1500 is a laser welding and cutting device designed to be installed into coil lines and specifically produced to operate on electrical steel sheets characterized by very reduced thicknesses.

The LBWCJ 1500 is capable to perform the head-to-head junction (butt weld) of the head and tail of two coils without overlap of the electrical steel strip (GO and NO), with high accuracy, in short time and in complete automation.

The LBWCJ 1500 system allows the realization of a laser welding process designed specifically in order to provide to the welding joints, dimensions and mechanical characteristics that:

• ensure the resistance of the weld

• allow subsequent processing without damaging the cutting and/or shearing tools 

• allow the winding of the welded coils without damaging the material.

For those reasons, BAIDEL Group's system LBWCJ 1500 can be used:

• in dedicated coil-to-coil lines, for the production of big dimensions coils starting from coils of smaller dimensions, optimizing the production and reducing scraps

• inside complex line for special applications such as: Laser Scribing Complex, galvanizing lines, coatings lines, flattening lines, cutting, shearing, trimming, slitting and punching lines
